    Certification Overview

    The IELTS Coaching Program at Futures Canadian College is a 32-hour long certificate program designed to help students achieve their desired band scores on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. Whether you’re preparing for academic study, professional registration, or immigration purposes, this comprehensive coaching program offers personalized instruction and proven strategies to boost your performance across all four components of the test.

    Delivered fully online, the program provides in-depth training in reading, writing, listening, and speaking—equipping learners with the skills and confidence needed to excel in both the Academic and General Training versions of the exam. Each module includes practice tests, real-time feedback, and focused skill-building exercises tailored to individual student needs.

    With expert instructors, small group sessions, and flexible learning options, the program ensures targeted preparation and measurable progress—ideal for international students, newcomers to Canada, and working professionals aiming to meet language proficiency requirements.

    Course Objectives

    Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

    · Understand the structure and format of the IELTS exam.

    · Develop test-specific strategies for time management and accuracy.

    · Improve English grammar, vocabulary, and overall fluency.

    · Analyze and respond to reading and listening passages effectively.

    · Structure high-scoring written responses for Task 1 and Task 2.

    · Practice fluent, coherent speaking in one-on-one mock interviews.

    · Build confidence to take the IELTS exam and reach targeted band scores.

    Admission Requirements

    • 18 years of age or older.
    • Assessment: Online or In-person Counselling
    • Result to Prove English Proficiency:
      • IELTS (Academic) – 6.0 overall
      • IELTS (General) – 6.0 overall with each band 6.0
      • PTE (Academic) – 51 overall
      • TOEFL IBT – 60 overall
      • CELPIP – 7 overall with each band 7
    • In the absence of the above ESL required.
    • Secondary or Post Secondary Degree Diploma.

    Learning Outcomes

    • Maintain workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and developing reporting procedures.
    • Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record keeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing changes.
    • Develop administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
    • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
    • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    • Provide information by answering questions and requests. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.

    Job Responsibilities

    • General office support, including phone calls, emails, and maintaining office organization.
    • Document creation, formatting, editing, and proofreading using office software.
    • Accurate data entry and management with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating events.
    • Making travel arrangements for business trips.
    • Greeting and assisting visitors, clients, or customers.
    • Maintaining organized physical and electronic records and files.
    • Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant documents.
    • Monitoring and ordering office supplies, managing inventory.
    • Tracking and documenting expenses, processing reimbursements, and budget management.
