The Tool and Die Maker Certification Program is a modular, Red Seal–aligned training course designed to develop precision-focused tradespeople capable of shaping the manufacturing industry. Tool and die makers are essential to producing the components, molds, dies, and fixtures that support mass production in sectors like automotive, aerospace, electronics, and industrial machinery.
This program introduces students to every stage of the trade—from understanding materials and measurements to mastering advanced machining, die construction, and CNC programming. With a strong emphasis on blueprint reading, CAD/CAM tools, and quality control, learners gain both the theoretical foundation and hands-on experience required to succeed in modern manufacturing environments.
Graduates will be prepared to pursue Red Seal Certification in the Tool and Die Maker trade. This nationally recognized endorsement not only boosts job mobility across Canada but also affirms a high standard of craftsmanship, making graduates competitive in a highly specialized and high-demand field.
