Our Phlebotomy Certificate Technician program is designed to provide essential, high-demand clinical practice training in a hybrid format, combining online learning with hands-on lab instruction. This program offers an opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge and patient care skills in just 10 hours of in-depth training, while earning a nationally recognized credential.
The Phlebotomy Certificate Technician program is a fast-paced, skills-based certificate that equips participants with the skills necessary to succeed in blood collection and processing. The hybrid learning structure allows you to learn foundational skills through self-paced online courses and then participate in interactive lab exercises, where instructors simulate real-life clinical situations.
With intakes in September, January, and May, you can begin your studies when it fits your schedule.
By the end of the program, you’ll be equipped to work in diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals and home care.
Our program ensures you are ready for the workforce with professional skills and hands-on training.

After completing the Phlebotomy Certificate Program, you can apply for national certification through the Canadian Phlebotomy Technicians Group Inc (CPTG)
👉 Complete the Phlebotomy Certificate Program
👉 Sign up for a CPTG membership (annual fee, with a discount for FCC students)
👉 Pass the CPT certification exam
👉 Earn the title of Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
