The Physiotherapist Assistant Course at Futures provides students with a foundational understanding of anatomy, movement principles, therapeutic modalities, and patient care practices. Through theoretical instruction and supervised practical sessions, students will develop the confidence to assist physiotherapists in treatment and rehabilitation procedures effectively.

Students gain hands-on experience through simulated lab sessions and supervised clinical practice. You’ll work with real physiotherapy tools, equipment, and techniques—learning how to assist clients with exercises, posture correction, and rehabilitation programs safely and effectively.

Age: Minimum 18 years
Education: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
Language Proficiency: CLB Level 6 or IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent)
Experience: An interest in health sciences, fitness, or rehabilitation. Previous volunteer or work experience in healthcare is an asset.
