Ontario’s growing need for social support programs has created consistent opportunities for trained Community Service Workers. Graduates can find employment in shelters, youth programs, mental health agencies, addiction recovery centers, and community outreach organizations. As societal well-being initiatives continue to expand, demand for skilled support professionals remains strong.
The CSW program combines in-class instruction with interactive workshops, community outreach projects, and field placements. You’ll develop real-world client support skills through counselling simulations, case studies, and supervised field applications—ensuring you’re ready to work in diverse human service environments.
Completing this program opens doors to multiple roles such as Community Support Worker, Case Manager Assistant, Addictions Support Worker, Shelter Worker, Youth Worker, and Social Service Assistant. With additional experience, graduates can advance toward supervisory or advocacy positions in non-profit and government sectors.
