The Developmental Services Worker Diploma at Futures provides the foundational skills and applied training required to support individuals with developmental challenges in various settings. Students will engage in learning modules covering ethics, disabilities, behavior support, communication, community inclusion, field placements, and professional development.

You will complete skill-based workshops, role-plays, and simulated service scenarios reflecting real community or residential settings.
Instructors will provide regular reviews of your hands-on practice, reflections, and placement performance to help you refine your skills and readiness.
By graduation, you will compile a professional portfolio including support plans, observation records, activity analyses, placement reflections and performance feedback—ready for prospective employers.

Age: Minimum 18 years
Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent. Post Secondary diploma, degree with a minimum GPA of 60% (if applicable)
Interview: Online or in-person interview
Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.0 / PTE / TOEFL equivalent (for international applicants)
Technical & Physical Requirements: Basic computer literacy; readiness for placement requirements including clear criminal/vulnerable sector check, immunizations, first aid/CPR may be required
