The Basic Cyber Security Course at Futures Canadian College covers the core principles of cybersecurity through 7 interactive sessions (1 hour each). Students will explore topics such as risk management, threat identification, network security, and best practices for safeguarding digital environments.

Each session includes hands-on exercises that mirror real cybersecurity challenges. Students will practice identifying threats, configuring basic security settings, and applying risk mitigation strategies.
After completing assignments, instructors conduct review sessions to clarify doubts and strengthen your understanding. Personalized feedback ensures you learn from mistakes, refine your approach, and gain confidence in applying cybersecurity principles effectively.
By the end of the program, students will compile a mini-portfolio that demonstrates your skills. This may include risk assessment reports, security configuration examples, and best-practice guidelines.
