The Early Childcare Assistant Diploma at Futures provides the foundation to work effectively with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Childcare environments. Through theory and supervised practice, students develop confidence and competencies to promote healthy development and learning.
Course Length: 945 hours (455 Theory + 490 Placement)

Students participate in childcare simulations and supervised placements to develop professional competency in real settings.
Instructors conduct evaluation sessions to review teaching techniques, child engagement strategies, and safety practices.
Graduates compile a professional portfolio including activity plans, observation logs, reflection journals, and placement feedback — ready to present to potential employers.

Age: Minimum 18 years
Education: A Secondary School Diploma or equivalent or Mature Students that pass a Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam.
Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 equivalent (for international students) or successfully pass an ESL Basic & ESL
