Why Choose The Personal Support Worker Program?

    Strong Demand Across Ontario

Ontario’s aging population and rising healthcare needs make PSWs one of the most consistently in-demand careers in healthcare. Graduates can find employment in hospitals, long-term care facilities, retirement residences, supportive housing, group homes, and private home care agencies.

    Hands-On Training with Clinical Placement

The program includes a 310-hour clinical placement where students apply classroom learning in real healthcare environments. This balance ensures you graduate not only with theoretical knowledge but also with hands-on practice in personal care, mobility assistance, hygiene, safety, and emotional support.

    Pathway to Career Growth

Completing the PSW Diploma offers both immediate employment and pathways to advanced healthcare roles. Many PSWs later transition into Nursing (RPN or RN), Gerontology, and other specialized fields, making this program a stepping stone to long-term career advancement.
